Assessment Appeals Deadline Extended to April 2

Earlier this month, the Mansfield Town Council voted to adopt a new state law, Public Act 25-02 sections 2 and 3, regarding an Alternative Motor Vehicle Depreciation Schedule.

As a result of this vote, Mansfield is EXTENDING THE DEADLINE for appealing all assessments, including real estate, to APRIL 2, 2025.

If you want to schedule an appeal with the Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA), please complete the form which can be found at www.mansfieldct.gov/180/Assess... . Before any hearing is scheduled or conducted by the BAA, Connecticut law mandates a written appeal petition be made to them by the April 2, 2025 extended deadline.
