STORRS, CT — The UConn women's basketball team will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its 2015 and 2016 NCAA championships on Thursday, Jan. 15, when the Huskies face Villanova in Gampel Pavilion.
The teams will be inducted into the Huskies of Honor in a pregame ceremony, joining the 1995, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014 teams.
The Huskies posted a 38-1 record in 2014-15, winning their last 37 contests, and took home their record 10th national championship thanks in large part to the outstanding play of the All-America trio of Moriah Jefferson, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Breanna Stewart.
