UConn Women Unveil 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule
The Huskies will again play one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

STORRS, CT — The 12-time NCAA Champion UConn women’s basketball team will once again play one of the toughest schedules in the nation as the program announced its 2025-26 non-conference slate Friday.
Ten of UConn's 2025-26 non-conference opponents competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, which the Huskies won. Nine opponents finished last season ranked in the top 35 of the NCAA NET Rankings: No. 5 Notre Dame, No. 6 USC, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 18 Ohio State, No. 23 Florida State, No. 24 Iowa, No. 25 Michigan, No. 27 Utah and No. 35 Louisville.
The Huskies will compete in three marquee neutral site events. UConn opens the season against Louisville in the Armed Forces Classic on Ramstein Airbase in Germany on Nov. 4. The Huskies will take on Michigan and Utah in the Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase on Nov. 21 and 23, respectively, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

UConn will face Iowa in the second Women's Champions Classic on Dec. 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
UConn plays its first official home game of the season vs. Florida State on Nov. 9 before hosting Loyola Chicago on Nov. 12 and Ohio State on Nov. 16.

The Huskies cap the non-conference schedule with two historic rivalries. UConn hosts Notre Dame on Jan. 19 in Gampel Pavilion before facing Tennessee on Feb. 1 in PeoplesBank Arena.
UConn will play two exhibitions before the season. The Huskies face Boston College in a doubleheader with the UConn men’s basketball team at Mohegan Sun on Oct. 13. The Huskies will host Southern Connecticut on Oct. 26.
