2. The Meriden Farmer's Market returns today, open from 3 to 6 p.m. at the MidState Medical Center parking lot.

3. The weekend is right around the corner, let us help you plan ahead. Try taking in a move at the Southington Drive-In with "Rudy" showing. It's just $10 for town residents and $13 for those from other towns.

4. Check out this 'stache! Meriden's Hector Cardona Sr. has been growing it for years and it's not good enough to earn him bragging rights as holding the best cop mustache in the nation.

5. Worried about weekend weather? Don't be! It's going to be nice and clear through the rest of the week and into the weekend, according to the National Weather Center.
