A nonprofit organization is offering a $5,500 reward in connection with a cat that was abandoned in freezing conditions and later died.
The 7-week-old kitten was found in a stolen vehicle that crashed with a police cruiser after being used in a crime spree in several towns.
“We are hopeful someone recognizes our adorable feline friend and can help us reunite him with his owner,” police said.
Pet parents are invited to participate as part of a nationwide clinical trial being conducted by Veterinary Health Research Center.
