Big Lottery Prize Sold In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $30,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Newington resident won $30,000 on a $30,000 Cashword ticket that was sold at SH Mini Mart at 446 Colony St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct.1, 2025.
