SEEKING: Female actress for the role of “OUISER” only. All other roles have been cast from our canceled production in May 2020.OUISER (female, 60’s-70’s) – wealthy, eccentric, and forceful. She doesn’t suffer fools easily. If misery loves company, it adores Ouiser. She is the engine in this (and any) room. She says that men are “horrible creatures,” and pretends to have moved on past that concern in her life. Ouiser thinks that she’s as independent as they come. The World Premiere of “OUTCASTS, LONERS AND GEEKS”
Written & Directed by Pam Amodio
Based on “Give A Boy A Gun” by Todd Strasser
SYNOPSIS: BANG! Gunshots echo through the gym. Two heavily armed students, Gary and Brendan, hold their classmates hostage at a high school dance. Their targets: the football players and teachers who have tormented them. Their weapons: semiautomatic rifles. Their motive: revenge. In “Outcasts, Loners and Geeks,” the interwoven voices of students, teachers, friends, and the gunmen themselves re-create the harrowing crisis at Central High and the reasons behind Gary and Brendan’s rampage. A tragedy that rings dreadfully true to life. A stunning work of fiction taken straight from today’s headlines, “Outcasts, Loners and Geeks” is a stirring wake-up call to stop the violence in the lives of teenagers.
