Isabell M. Kratochvil, 98, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025.
She approached each day with positivity and grace, making the most of every joyful moment.

Isabell M. Kratochvil, 98, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025. Isabell was born on November 16, 1926 in Mexico, Maine to the late Joseph Theriault and Mary Leblanc. Isabell was the beloved wife of the late Robert T. Blaner.
Isabell was the devoted matriarch of her family, known for her unwavering love, generosity, and constant presence in the lives of those she cherished. A true people person, Isabell had a gift for making friends wherever she went, whether at her local senior center, while traveling across the United States and Europe, or out on the dance floor with her partner enjoying ballroom and square dancing. She found joy in simple pleasures: taking walks on sunny days, quilting with care, and curling up with a good book.
Having lived through the Great Depression, Isabell carried with her a deep appreciation for life’s blessings and a resilience that inspired everyone around her. She approached each day with positivity and grace, making the most of every joyful moment. Her warmth, spirit, and spark for life made a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Isabell is survived by her three beloved children: Diane Razzaia (Joseph), Linda Harrington (Paul), and Donald Blaner. Seven grandchildren: Mathew Razzaia (Marie), Jennifer Macaluso (Jason), Heidi Jo Pacheco, Felicity Cyr (Ray), Shauna Guthrie (Charlie), Zachary Razzaia (Kathy), and Desiree Caporaso (Jeff), eleven great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her lifelong friends Kathleen, Regina “Reggie”, Donald and many more beloved friends and family. Isabell is predeceased by her first love and husband Robert Blaner, second husband Regis Kratochvil, her dear friend Robert Post, and five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 35 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT 06460.
