MERIDEN — A New Britain resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Meriden earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On September 22, Jesus Tavarez, of New Britain purchased a 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket from the Gulf Mart 1 in Meriden and won $30,000.

MERIDEN — A New Britain resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Meriden earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
