Meriden Fireworks, Concert Postponed Due To Weather
The city's annual fireworks display had been scheduled for Monday, July 3.
MERIDEN, CT — Meriden’s fireworks and associated festivities have been postponed to Friday, July 7, Mayor Kevin Scarpati announced Sunday.
The event is being postponed due to the threat of inclement weather in Monday’s forecast, according to Scarpati.
The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7, with a concert at 7 p.m. and the fireworks display at 9 p.m.
