Meriden Police Blotter: Attacks on Elderly, Pregnant End in Arrests

A Meriden woman and Southington man are each facing charges stemming from separate cases in which they attacked local residents who were either elderly or pregnant, police said. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:
July 8
Aveliz Marie Perez, 20, of 800 Hanover Road in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 8.
Abel G. Perez, 18, of 800 Hanover Road in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 8.
Keil Loricco, 24, of 206 Upper State St. in North Haven, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, July 8.
Terrence Vasseur, 29, of no given address, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 8.
Scott Rossell, 22, of 42 Standish Road in New Milford, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics, July 8.
Lori Stellato, 39, of 251 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, July 8.
July 9
Heather Haplin, 51, of 45 Savings St. in Waterbury, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear, July 9.
Cassandra Clark, 37, of 581 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and third-degree assault on an elderly person, July 9.
Michael Biron, no age given, of 80 Devonshire Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, two counts of risk of injury to a minor and third-degree assault on a pregnant woman, July 9.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
Four people were cited with simple trespassing.
Four people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Two people were cited with following too close.
Two people were cited with failure to display plates.
Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
One person was cited with failure to wear seatbelt.
One person was cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
