In a busy end of the week for Meriden police, officers responded to numerous cases including one that involved a mother and daughter being charged in a stalking and harassment case. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:
July 9
Tyler Collier, 17, of 5 Chapman St. in New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 9.
July 10
John Barbera, 45, of 18 Arlington St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree harassment, July 10.
Dakwon Kima, 18, of 75 Myrtle St. in Meriden, was charged with interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct, July 10.
Daniel Furtado, 26, of 96 Franklin St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny, July 10.
Alexander Nunez, 21, of 95 Linsley Ave. in Meriden, was charged with violating conditions of release, July 10.
Cesar Augusto Rodriguez Jr., 32, of 37 Pasco St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a hallucinogen, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and reckless driving, July 10.
July 11
Alphonso Rikard, 52, of 208 Oak St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 11.
Kendall Shelton, 19, of 22 North St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree assault, assault on a disabled person and disorderly conduct, July 11.
Luis Estremera, 62, of 35 Willow St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of illegal drugs and possession of drugs near a prohibited place, July 11.
Miquel Gomez, 44, of 80 Olive St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drugs near a prohibited place, July 11.
Alijah Danyell Fuller, 18, of 173 Cianci Road in New Britain, was charged with fifth-degree larceny, July 11.
Carmen Rodriguez, 42, of 52 Oak Ridge Drive in New Haven, was charged with third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, July 11.
Felicia Rumley, 46, of 27 Randolph Ave. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree stalking and unlawful assembly, July 11.
Tranice Rumley, 19, of 27 Randolph Ave. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree stalking, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, harassment and unlawful assembly, July 11.
Latisha Martinez, 29, of 112 S. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, two counts of risk of injury to a minor and second-degree threatening, July 11.
William Robert Berube, 44, of 43 N. Third St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, July 11.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Four people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
- Three people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
- Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
- Two people were cited with failure to carry drivers license.
- Two people were cited with simple trespassing.
- One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
- One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with unsafe movement of a motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with failure to have headlights lit at night.
- One person was cited with following too close.
- One person was cited with failure to vaccinate dog.
- One person was cited with allowing a dog to roam without a leash.
