It was a busy weekend and start to the week for Meriden police, as officers arrested 20 individuals in 21 separate cases including a man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice and a second selling crack cocaine in the community. Officers also issued tickets for a total of 57 citations. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:
July 12
Michael Karbownik, 32, of 525 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of sale of narcotics, three counts of sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a housing project and conspiracy to sell narcotics, July 12.
Jonathan Mercado, 37, of 183 Hobart St. in Meriden, was charged with misuse of plates and allowing operation of an unregistered motor vehicle, July 12.
Devin Dukes, of 47 Linsley Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 12.
Luis Rodriguez, 31, of 110 Sherman Ave. in Meriden, was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice, July 12.
Ryan Gaudet, 26, of 834 Paddock Ave. in Meriden, was charged with violation of probation, July 12.
Eugene Robitaille, 28, of no given address in Meriden, was charged with violation of a protective order, July 12.
Kathryn Kubeck, 29, of 136 S. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of a protective order, July 12.
Glen Gallagher, 29, of 136 S. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of a protective order, July 12.
Leroy Hunter, 58, of 40 Linsley Ave. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 12.
July 13
Nikauris Derejo, no age given, of 581 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with misuse of plates, failure to insure motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under suspension, July 13.
Kevin Gowdy, 32, of 47 Hubbard St. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 13.
Tracy A. Foster, 47, of 15 Prince St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of probation, July 13.
Iyon Adams, 29, of 23 Lawrence St. in Hartford, was charged with fourth-degree larceny, third-degree robbery and disorderly conduct, July 13.
Kevin Anderson, 36, of 6 Lyons St. in New Haven, was charged with misuse of plates, July 13.
Cynthia M. Dantona, 37, of 210 Wolcott St. in New Haven, was charged with illegally obtaining prescription drugs, second-degree forgery and criminal attempt to possess narcotics, July 13.
Ibezimako Nmegbu, 30, of 140 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with misuse of plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 13.
July 14
Keith Bott, 45, of 55 Willow St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 14.
Glen Gallagher, 30, of 136 S. Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with violating conditions of release, July 14.
Richard H. Simpson, 42, of 720 Fleck Ave. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, July 14.
July 15
Paul T. Durgan, 53, of 598 Hanover Road in Meriden, was charged with reckless endangerment, third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, July 15.
Albert J. Lacomb, 25, of 53 Liberty St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree strangulation and second-degree breach of peace, July 15.

- Fourteen (14) people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
- Eight people were cited with simple trespassing.
- Eight people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
- Six people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.

- Four people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
- Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- Two people were cited with driving without a license.
- Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- Two people were cited with improper passing.
- Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
- Two people were cited with failure to drive to the right.
- One person was cited with a seatbelt violation.
- One person was cited with failure to carry registration.
- One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
- One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
- One person was cited with soliciting without a license.
