Meriden Resident Wins $750K Lottery Prize

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden resident recently won $750,000 on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $750,000 on an Ultimate 7s scratch ticket that was sold at Colonial Wine & Liquors at 160 Kukas Lane in Waterbury, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
