Obituary: Elizabeth (Rodriguez) Rosario, 35, of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT - (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home) Elizabeth (Rodriguez) Rosario, 35, of Meriden, loving and devoted wife of Ryan R. Rosario, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones, Monday, October 18, 2021 after a courageous battle against cancer.

Elizabeth was born in Meriden, September 17, 1986, a daughter of Migdalia Vega and Carlos Rodriguez and had been a lifelong Meriden resident.

Elizabeth, to all who knew her was an amazing human being. She was loved by many and had a heart of gold. She loved cooking and also loved her family. Elizabeth was a family-oriented person.

She was funny yet was a firecracker when need be. She was loved by many for her heart of gold and loved sharing her talent of cooking for anyone that needed a hand.

In addition to her husband Ryan, she is survived by her three loving children Joshua Rosario, Daniel Garcia, Christian Rosario; her sister Jessica Rodriguez; her brother Jonathan Rodriguez; her brother-in-law Kevin Marks; her nephew Jordan Marks; her niece baby Liz; several aunts, uncles; cousins; and friends.

Elizabeth’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Friday, October 22, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Face coverings will be required in the funeral home.

Her funeral procession will leave Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, Saturday, October 23, at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden where committal services will be held at 11 a.m.
