Obituary: Jan Trelski, 88, of Meriden
Jan, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, worked as an Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft for many years.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home) Jan Trelski, 88, loving husband of Helena (Bieniaszewska) Trelski, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Jan was born in Poland, July 29, 1932, a son of the late Piotr and Cecylia Trelski and had been a Meriden resident for many years.
He had been employed as an Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft until his retirement.
In addition to his wife Helena, he is survived by his step-daughter Barbara G. Margol and her husband Wieslaw of Meriden and their children Scott Margol and Andrew Margol; his son Krzysztof Trelski and his wife Halina of New Britain and their children Michal, Grzegorz, Tomasz and Jacek Trelski.
Jan is also survived by his brother Jozef Trelski of Poland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish (St. Stanislaus Church) in Meriden.
There will be no calling hours. Inurnment will follow in the Mausoleum at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
