Obituary: Marion L. Bystrek, 65, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Marion L. Bystrek, 65, of Meriden, passed away May 11 ,2024 at Hartford Hospital.

Marion was born on February 18, 1959, a daughter of the late Ewen and Laura (Gipson) Ogden.

Marion spent most of her life doing office administrative jobs before retiring and taking care of her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Marion is survived by her son, Timmothy Miles; her daughters, Samantha Slosek and her husband, Michael, and Brandi Miles; her sister, Glenda Cox; her brother, Dannell “Buster” Ogden; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
