Obituary: Michael S. Leonard, 43, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Michael S. Leonard of South Meriden, CT, passed away on April 9, 2024, after a long battle with addiction.

He attended Meriden schools and Middlesex Community College. He later worked as a gifted welder throughout the state.

Michael was the beloved son of Phyllis and the late Stephen Leonard. Beside his mother, he leaves behind his three precious sons, whom he loved with all his heart, Tristan, Riley and Jameson Leonard. He also leaves behind his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., in the Yalesville section of Wallingford on Sunday, April 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
