Road Closed For Investigation In Meriden: Police

MERIDEN, CT — Police are advising motorists that a portion of West Main Street is closed for an investigation.

West Main Street is blocked off at Colony Street, preventing traffic from proceeding westbound past the police department, according to Lt. Darrin McKay.

“We are conducting an investigation and as such we will be blocking traffic from Colony Street up to Grove Street until our investigation is complete,” McKay wrote in an email. “At this time, we are asking all citizens to avoid this area until further notice.”
