Clinicians at Rushford in Middletown have developed an innovative program that is specifically geared toward young adults ages 18 to their late twenties that provides therapy treatment addressing topics such as mental health, substance use, transitions, relationships and more.
“This uniquely structured psychotherapy program utilizes Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and education with a focus on key concepts including mindfulness, mood-regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. Together in groups we explore many ways to help people get back on track,” said Lana Zakhour, MSW, Clinician at Rushford.
