Rushford Save a Life Day promotes overdose prevention
Residents are invited to attend a community event focused on harm reduction techniques and overdose prevention.

The event will feature free NARCAN training, where participants can learn to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses, understand the signs and symptoms, and administer Narcan. Information booths from Rushford IOP/PHP and Latino service and community programs will be available, along with the opportunity to visit the Rushford Mobile Resource Unit Van. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, giveaways, and receive free Narcan kits. This event aims to equip the community with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively respond to overdoses and support those in need.
