Shots Fired At Occupied Home, Man Arrested: Meriden Police
A man has been arrested in connection with shots fired at an occupied home in Meriden, according to police.
MERIDEN, CT — A man has been arrested in connection with shots fired at an occupied home last month in Meriden, according to police.
Police responded around 8:25 p.m. on March 28 to the area of 90 Crown Street in Meriden on the report of shots fired in the area.
Officers found several shell casings on Crown Street, and police said that a nearby residence had been struck by gunfire.

The Meriden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to further investigate the incident.
After a lengthy investigation, police said an arrest warrant was obtained for 25-year-old Quasime Torres.

Torres was taken into custody Friday by the New Britain Police Department, and then brought to the Meriden Police Department.
Torres was arrested on charges of criminal attempt at first-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
He was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
