Teen, 19, Killed After Car Rolls Off Highway In Meriden: State Police
The identity of the teen has been released by state police. The vehicle ended up on an adjacent field, according to a report.

MERIDEN, CT — A local teen was killed when the vehicle he was driving rolled off the highway Saturday afternoon, state police said.
At 2:49 p.m., Benjamin E. Morales, 19, of Meriden, was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Interstate 691 in Meriden, state police said.
"While traveling on the Exit 1 ramp, Vehicle #1 ran off the roadway and collided with cable barrier in the right shoulder then traveled down the roadside embankment commencing into a rollover event and coming to an uncontrolled rest after colliding with a tree," state police wrote in an accident summary. "Operator #1 was ejected during the rollover sequence and pronounced deceased on scene."

NBC Connecticut reported that the vehicle ended up landing on a soccer field at Kronenberger Park, and all planned activities were canceled. (Read more at NBC CT here).
