Review by Connecticut Critics Circle Member Nancy Sasso Janis
Castle Craig Players is performing a heartwarming production of “Little Women The Musical” on their stage in Meriden through Aug. 10. The fabulous cast is under the direction of Ian Galligan, with choreography designed by Brandon D. Gregoire in his choreographic debut. CCP co-founder Melanie Del Sole served as the show’s producer.
The musical version of the Louisa May Alcott novel includes a book by Allan Knee, charming music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. The classic tale of the March sisters is set in Concord, MA and New York City, from Christmas 1863 through the spring of 1867.
