2 Highway Crashes Keep Westfield Firefighters Busy Monday Night

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Westfield firefighters had to contend with a pair of highway crashes Monday night.

Westfield Fire sent a rescue and tanker truck to Interstate 91 southbound for the second crash, which occurred prior to Exit 19. It involved two vehicles and two of those involved suffered min or injuries, fire officials said. for The left and center lanes were closed for about 30 minutes.

Earlier that night, a car rolled over on the northbound side of the highway and it involved minor injuries, fire officials said.
