CSP Responds To Over 4K Calls For Service Thanksgiving Weekend

Connecticut State Police released their 2023 Thanksgiving Weekend statistics.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Throughout the Thanksgiving Weekend, the Connecticut State Police had 4,985 calls for service.

The period for Thanksgiving Weekend started from midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 22, through 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26.

Connecticut State Police responded to 356 motor vehicle accidents, 245 motorist assists and one fatality.

CSP gave 178 speeding violations, made 28 DUI arrests, and gave 428 infractions for other violations, including seatbelt, unsafe lane change, following too closely, move over, distracted driving and more.
