MIDDLETOWN, CT — A driver is accused of hitting a police cruiser on Monday on Spring Street near Main Street, according to a news report from WTNH News 8.

Middletown Police Department told WTNH News 8 that the driver fled the scene after failing to stop and hitting a responding police cruiser.

The suspected vehicle is a black Volvo S60 bearing the temporary registration 10036 from an unknown state.
