Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Middlesex/New London County: NWS
Here are new details/timeline on when to expect thunderstorms on Friday and some major weather changes begin on Sunday.

NEW LONDON/MIDDLESEX COUNTY, CT — A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for both New London and Middlesex counties on Friday.
More than two inches of rain is forecast to fall before the rain tapers off Saturday afternoon. Some thunderstorms are also possible on Friday and Friday night.
The good news is that once we get to Sunday we're looking at a stretch of stellar weather, nothing but sunshine and warm temperatures through at least Thursday.

Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 63. Northeast wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then rain likely after 2am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 58. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Saturday: Rain likely before 8am, then a chance of showers after 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Northeast wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. North wind around 9 mph.
