Common Council Supports Midden Lookout Park:
On December 1st, Middletown's Common Council unanimously supported a resolution granting The Jonah Center permission to develop the city's closed landfill (aka "midden") into an environmental education and wildlife viewing area. In the video image above, the site of the future Midden Lookout Park is just beyond the solar array (center) overlooking the Mattabesset River and the Floating Meadows. Read more here.
