Middlesex County Career Fair Set For Nov. 3

Chairwoman, Kristen Roberts of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that the Middlesex County Career Fair has been scheduled for Thursday, November 3, 2022.

The Middlesex County Career Fair will be held at the Courtyard by Marriot Hartford Cromwell from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The unemployed, underemployed, retired as well as individuals seeking new career opportunities are invited to come meet with prospective employers, receive advice from career counselors and take advantage of resume critiquing. Over 45 companies from throughout the labor market area will be seeking people whose skills run from professional, technical, manufacturing and administrative.

This event is sponsored by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, the Connecticut Department of Labor, and Workforce Alliance.

Middlesex Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, “The Middlesex County Career Fair will host over 40 companies at this year’s fair, which is very important due to the high number of people looking for work. I want to thank the Connecticut Department of Labor and Workforce Alliance for their support of this event.”

Middlesex Chamber Vice President Johanna Bond noted, “I would like to encourage everyone in Middlesex County to join us for our results-oriented career fair! Now more than ever employers need workers and workers need employment. I would also like to thank the Courtyard by Marriot Hartford Cromwell for hosting our special event that will lead to many terrific opportunities.”
