MIDDLETOWN, CT — Rebecca Isaacson, an agricultural educator in the Middletown Agricultural Science and Technology program recently attended the 2024 National Association of Agricultural Educators Convention in San Antonio, TX.

The event, which took place from December 3 through 6 in conjunction with the ACTE CareerTech VISION conference, brought together thousands of agricultural education and career and technical educators, industry professionals, and leaders committed to advancing agricultural education.

During the convention, Isaacson participated in a variety of professional development sessions,
workshops, and networking events designed to enhance knowledge and skills in agricultural
education. The convention provided educators with the tools to foster innovation in their classroom as well as learn, collaborate, and share best practices that can help build the next generation of
agricultural leaders.

As part of the convention's highlights, Isaacson took part in State Leaders Training, The National
Council for AG Education Summit, and content workshops. The sessions covered a range of topics,
including inquiry instruction, agricultural technology, curriculum development, and student
leadership. Additionally, Isaacson had the opportunity to connect with fellow educators and
agricultural professionals, fostering relationships that will contribute to ongoing professional growth.

shared by fellow educators and industry leaders are invaluable, and I am excited to bring new ideas and strategies into my classroom."
