Obituary: Carolyn Ann (Darisse) Paquin, 89, of Middletown
Carolyn, lovingly referred to as Nana, was an avid Red Sox fan and was known as kind, caring, loveable and sassy.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Doolittle Funeral Home) Carolyn Ann (Darisse) Paquin, also known as Nana, 89, of Middletown, passed away in peace surrounded by her family on February 21, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital.
Born in Dracut, Massachusetts on October 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Teague) Darisse.
Carol loved the Boston Red Sox and making weekly visits to the flower farm where the red rose was her favorite flower.
She was a caring and loveable woman who would give the shirt off her back and was adored by so many. Carol will be remembered for her sassy personality and funny remarks.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Joann Romano; granddaughter, Jennifer Romano; four great-grandchildren, Jalissa, Evahna, Ka’son and KJ; a great-great-grandchild, E’son; a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and her loving dog, Princess.
Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Paquin; sisters, Dolores, Mary, Dorothy and Beatrice, and brothers, Joseph and Albert.
Family and friends may call on Monday, February 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.
