Obituary: Elaine Biafore, 82, Of Middletown
Elaine, who worked in payroll and administrative roles, also worked with her husband in real estate in the Meriden and Wallingford area.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Elaine Biafore, 82, of Middletown, formerly of Wallingford, wife of the late Edward A. Biafore, passed away October 14, 2022 at Hartford Hospital.
Elaine was born in Cobleskill, NY on June 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Alton and Joyce (Palmer) Doyle.
Elaine started her working career directly out of High School at Wallace Silversmith in the Payroll department and later worked for Hitchiner Manufacturing of Wallingford CT in Administrative roles.

Elaine also obtained her Real Estate license and worked with her late husband Edward throughout the Meriden and Wallingford area. Prior to her retirement in 2015, Elaine worked for Wallingford Buick GMC, as Administrative Assistant and DMV coordinator.
Elaine is survived by her son, Richard Rapp (Rosa) of Middletown; her daughters, Michelle Sumner (Jonathan) and Cynthia Rapp-Blaney (Raymond), both of Middletown; her step-son, David Biafore (Trang) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her brother, Robert Doyle of Meriden; her grandchildren, Edward J. Biafore, Ashley Elaine Biafore, Alex and Adam Rapp (Gina), Sara Jo and Mark Sumner and Myy Tran; her great-grandchildren, Edward M. Biafore and Mave Rose Tran; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Doyle and step-son, Edward D. Biafore.

Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Yalesville United Methodist Church in Yalesville. To view her funeral service via livestream, please visit her webpage at www.wallingfordfh.com at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden.
