Obituary: Michael V. Hunihan Jr., 48; Formerly Of Middletown
Michael, who had worked as a Title Searcher, was a member of the Cage Jujitsu Strength Academy and enjoyed playing guitar.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Michael V. Hunihan Jr., 48, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his home.
Michael was born May 1, 1975, in Waterbury, the son of Tracy Benson and the late Michael Hunihan Sr. He had lived in the Middletown and Cromwell areas for several years and had worked as a Title Searcher. He was a member of the Cage Jujitsu Strength Academy and enjoyed playing guitar.
Besides his mother and her partner Sarah Eldredge, Michael is survived by his aunts and uncles, Maury Benson of Prospect, Lauire Hanley (John) of ME, Craig Benson (Doreen) of ME, Elizabeth Benson of Waterbury, James "Jim" Hunihan (Betty) of CA, and Cheryl Yudkin of Clinton.

Arrangements – A funeral service for Michael will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 7 p.m. at Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. and there are no calling hours. Committal will be held in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Fur-Gotten Tails Animal Rescue. P.O. Box 778. Plainville, CT 06062.
