Police Pursuit Ends With Crash In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A police pursuit that initiated in New Britain ended with a crash in Middletown early Monday, state police and Westfield fire officials said.

The rollover happened on the northbound side of Interstate 91 just before 1:30 a.m. between exits 19 and 20 and the right shoulder and one lane were closed, fire officials said.

The car wound up in a copse of trees after veering off the highway, according to fire officials.
