After a minute of arguing, a second victim attempted to remove the victim before the situation worsened, police said.
Rodriguez then reversed with the door open, and the door caught both victims, dragging them a few feet and knocking them both to the ground, police said.
Rodriguez then placed the car into drive with the door still open and fled the scene, hitting the victim again as he left, police said.
