95 Milford Motorists Nabbed for Seatbelts
Milford police issue 95 seatbelt infractions during recent two-week 'Click it or Ticket' campaign.

Milford police issued 95 seatbelt infractions from May 20 to June 2 as part of a statewide “Click it or Ticket” campaign, the department announced Tuesday.
“This campaign involved high visibility enforcement efforts regarding children restrained in child safety seats, seatbelt usage among vehicle occupants and compliance with the proper use of cell phones,” Officer Jeffrey Nielsen said in a statement.
The campaign set up various checkpoints throughout the city, Nielsen said.
In addition to the seatbelt infractions, Milford police said they gave out four seatbelt warnings, five “other” motor vehicle infractions and 14 “other” motor vehicle warnings.
The department arrested one motorist for DUI and five for “criminal arrests,” Nielsen said.
