MILFORD, CT — Milford fire officials say they are investigating a Tuesday morning fire at R.D. Welding Services.

Adam Hansen, a department spokesperson, said at 8:08 a.m., Milford Emergency Operations Center (EOC) received a 911 call for a reported building fire at 655 Plains Road.

Hansen said when crews arrived, they found the fire had been extinguished inside a welding shop. Fire crews determined that minor contents were involved in the fire and it did not extend to the structure.
