CT DEEP Presents 'The Bobcat – CT's Secretive Wild Cat'

From CT DEEP: You are invited to attend a free presentation of the CT DEEP’s The Bobcat – Connecticut’s Secretive Wild Cat. The talk will be Tuesday evening, April 11th 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Milford Public Library. The talk is provided by, Milford’s Open Space and Natural Resource Agent, Steve Johnson. Johnson participated in the 12 week CT DEEP’s Master Wildlife Conservationist Program in 2015.

The Connecticut DEEP Master Wildlife presentation will share information about the animal’s history, diet and eating habits. Johnson has included additional information on local Bobcat sightings.

The Master Wildlife Conservationist Program (MWCP) is an adult education program based in Burlington, Connecticut, that trains participants in the fields of wildlife management, natural history and interpretation. The purpose of the program is to develop a volunteer corps capable of providing education, outreach, and service for state agencies, environmental organizations, libraries, schools, and the general public.
