CT Legislators Attend Milford Kids Count Legislative Breakfast
Kids Count is a NPO that has been in Milford since 1992 and offers programs to help families with education and medical options.

From The Office Of Senator Gayle Slossberg: Senator Gayle Slossberg (D-Milford) and her colleagues, State Representatives Pam Staneski (R-Milford) and Charles Ferraro (R-West Haven) attended the annual Milford Kids Count Legislative Breakfast this week. The legislators gave an update on their work in the General Assembly to the parents and advocates in attendance.
“Kids Count is an incredible organization that has touched the lives of thousands of families and truly benefitted our community. My message to them at this event was ‘I’m with you,’” said Senator Slossberg, Co-Chair of the Education Committee and a member of the Appropriations Committee. “The work of organizations like Kids Count helps make the Milford community a better place to live and a more supportive environment for future generations to learn and grow. Investing in and supporting young children helps ensure they are more prepared to succeed at school, in their careers, and throughout all other aspects of their lives. Milford is a great town for families to live and raise their children, and organizations like Kids Count are a critical part of keeping it that way. I will keep fighting to maintain the state funding and support they need to continue their important mission.”
Kids Count is a not-for-profit organization that has been offering services to the Milford Community since 1992. A volunteer board of directors is comprised of parents and representatives of early childhood education, business, medical and mental health and preschools.
