A Half-Mile of Bic Drive Will Be Renamed After Subway Corp.
The changed was unanimously approved by the Planning and Zoning Board.
The Milford Planning and Zoning Board unanimously approved of a half-mile long portion of Bic Drive to be renamed at its last public hearing June 16, the Milford Mirror reported.
The portion of Bic Drive that extends from Rowe Avenue, just north of Interstate 95, to Naugatuck Avenue will be renamed “Sub Way,” following the request filed by the Subway Corporation, 325 Bic Drive, whose world headquarters is located along that stretch of the road.
Subway is one of Milford’s biggest taxpayers.
