
The following is a press release from the Milford Police Department.
The Milford Police Department Special Investigations Unit is currently investigating indecent exposure incidents that have occurred recently in the Westside section of the city.
Three separate incidents have been reported to the police during the end of May 2013 and beginning of June 2013.
During these incidents, the suspect exposes himself to female victims and attempts to cover his facial area during the act. The suspect does not attempt to have any contact with the victims in any manner.
Bushes appear to be an area of concealment for the suspect prior to the encounters.
Below are the date and locations where these incidents have occurred.
- May 24, 2013 near Milford Point Road/Honek Street
- May 25, 2013 in the area of Bridgeport Avenue/South Kerema Avenue
- June 6, 2013 in the area of Naugatuck Avenue/Old Point Road
Information has been developed from witnesses and other sources resulting in a composite sketch drawing of the potential suspect. The suspect is described as a medium skinned black or Hispanic male, 5’9”-6’1” in height, slim to medium build with short cropped black hair.
The male has worn a dark hooded sweatshirt which he utilizes to cover his facial area during these incidents. The Milford Police Department has increased police presence regarding these incidents.
