Milford Guided Canoe Tour: Saturday, 2 p.m. Relax and have fun discovering the Charles Wheeler Salt Marsh at Milford Point this summer on a canoe tour guided by naturalists from the CT Audubon Society Coastal Center. Advance registration required.

Author Sydney Sherman at Milford Library: Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. Connecticut paranormal author Sydney Sherman is launching her debut volume, “You Are Not Alone: Our Loved Ones Are Here…You’re Just Not Listening,” at a public book release and speaking engagement at the Milford Library. Free to attend.

Milford Rotary 37th Annual Lobster Bake: Saturday, 4 p.m., at Milford Boat Works, 1 High St. Tickets are $40. No tickets at door. Proceeds benefit Milford Rotary charitable endeavors.

Gathering of the Vibes: The 18th annual music, arts and camping festival returns once again to the water’s edge at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s 370-acre Seaside Park Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28.
