John Ratzenberger's Milford Home Sells For $1.67 Million

The "Cheers" star has sold his 3,500-square-foot, four-bedroom home located on the beach in Milford.

MILFORD, CT — "Cheers" actor John Ratzenberger has sold his Milford home for $1.67 million, Hearst Connecticut Media reported. The home was sold April 16 after being listed last year.

Ratzenberger is best known for playing Cliff Clavin on the popular show "Cheers." He has also voice acted in several films, including "Toy Story," and "A Bug's Life."

The house, built in 1860, is located right on the water overlooking Long Island Sound. It features four bedrooms, around 3,500 square feet of living space, an open floor plan through the downstairs, and French doors that open onto a spacious deck. The house last sold in 2011 for $1.13 million, according to Realtor.com.

Ratzenberger has been a visible presence in Milford for a long time. In 2016, he was the keynote speaker for the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Awards of Distinction ceremony.

In 2022, Ratzenberger chaired the Milford United Way's campaign. He told the Hearst Connecticut in 2022 that he said yes to helping the Milford United Way because "what they stand for, helping people in the community, was a no-brainer."
