The Jonathan Law High School Class of 2013 is ready for tomorrow -- whatever that may bring.
"Find something you're passionate about," Salutatorian Katherine Alling said in her address to fellow graduating seniors Thursday on the school's football field.
"Think about your future tomorrow," she said.
Alling encouraged her peers to avoid being planted in a "comfort zone" and to have the courage to try something new that could at first seem "scary."
Valedictorian Anisha Manglani had a similar tone in her speech on commencement day.
Though the future may appear "intimidating, we must remember to move on," she said. The memories of high school will always be there, so don't fear drifting apart from friends if that's what happens, Manglani said.
"This is the year we leave our first footprints in the world," she said.
