Kitten Stolen From Milford Animal Control, 2 Charged: Milford PD
Police shared several incidents across Milford, including a cooking oil theft attempt, Hyundai Elantra stolen and theft of AirPods

Milford Police Logs for Aug. 17 -Aug. 21: (All the information is provided by the police department, and all charges are accusations at this time).
Aug. 17
- A woman was taken into custody by Hamden Police Department and turned over to Milford Police Department for a larceny investigation from 2022. She also had a warrant out of New Haven, police said.
- A man was charged with a strong-armed robbery after he grabbed the victim and took their AirPods at Wendy’s on Old Gate Lane, police said.
- A cooking oil theft attempt at a Bridgeport Avenue business was reported, police said.

- A Ford F350 was stolen from Acorn Lane, police said.
- A stolen vehicle out of Wilton was recovered on Spring Street, police said.
- A Hyundai Elantra was stolen from Plains Road. It was later recovered unoccupied in New Haven, police said.
- A vehicle was rifled through on Juniper Drive, police said.
Aug. 19
- A Fraud complaint was made from a business on Bridgeport Avenue, police said.
- A theft from an unlocked vehicle on Plains Road was reported, police said.
- A person entered a garage after they went into a car and got the garage door opener on Milford Hunt Road. The homeowner confronted the suspect, and the suspect fled in a vehicle, police said.
- A man was charged with causing a disturbance at Fowler Field while intoxicated at the Oyster Fest.
- A man and woman were charged with burglary at Milford Animal Control after breaking a window in a door, entering the facility and stealing a kitten. The kitten was found and returned to the shelter, police said.
- A man was charged with a DUI at the Sunoco station on Old Gate Lane, police said.

Aug. 21.
- A Subaru Legacy was stolen from Oldroyd Street, police said.
- A Burglary to a business on Bridgeport Avenue was reported. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
