Man Hits 4 Parked Cars At Park, Flees Scene: Milford Police

Police shared several incidents across Milford, including vehicles vandalized, shoplifting at Dollar General and packages taken from porch.

Sept. 7

  • Contractor fraud was reported on Seamans Lane, police said.
  • A man was extradited from Massachusetts on four arrest warrants, police said.
  • A man was charged with DUI on the Boston Post Road, police said.

  • Vandalism to a vehicle located on West Avenue and Stran Road was reported, police said.
  • Packages were taken from a porch on Beechwood Avenue, police said.
  • Facebook scam reported on Bianca Drive, police said.
  • A Mazda 3 with the keys in it was stolen from the Super 8 Motel. It was later recovered in the same lot, police said.
  • Information received by Milford Police Department that a car meet-up was going to occur on Cherry Street. Patrol units were assigned. 10-15 cars showed up, and no issues were reported, police said.

Sept. 9

  • A stolen vehicle out of Stratford was recovered on Washington Street, police said.
  • A man was charged and is accused of hitting four parked cars at Eisenhower Park and fleeing. He was also charged with trespassing on Bridgeport Avenue after he was released, police said.
  • A man was charged and is accused of interfering with an officer on Hattie Lane after not complying with officers during an investigation, police said.
