Man Hits 4 Parked Cars At Park, Flees Scene: Milford Police

Milford Police Logs for Sept. 7 – Sept. 13: (All the information is provided by the police department, and all charges are accusations at this time).

Sept. 7

• Contractor fraud was reported on Seamans Lane, police said.
• A man was extradited from Massachusetts on four arrest warrants, police said.
• A man was charged with DUI on the Boston Post Road, police said.

Sept. 8

• Vandalism to a vehicle located on West Avenue and Stran Road was reported, police said.
• Packages were taken from a porch on Beechwood Avenue, police said.
• Facebook scam reported on Bianca Drive, police said.
• A Mazda 3 with the keys in it was stolen from the Super 8 Motel. It was later recovered in the same lot, police said.
• Information received by Milford Police Department that a car meet-up was going to occur on Cherry Street. Patrol units were assigned. 10-15 cars showed up, and no issues were reported, police said.

Sept. 9

• A stolen vehicle out of Stratford was recovered on Washington Street, police said.
• A man was charged and is accused of hitting four parked cars at Eisenhower Park and fleeing. He was also charged with trespassing on Bridgeport Avenue after he was released, police said.
• A man was charged and is accused of interfering with an officer on Hattie Lane after not complying with officers during an investigation, police said.

Sept. 10

• Milford Police Officers assisted Bridgeport Police after a call for mutual aid, police said.
• A woman was arrested after being charged on a larceny warrant, police said.
• A man was arrested after being charged on a larceny warrant, police said.

Sept. 11

• A man was charged with DUI near Pond Point Avenue and Edgefield Avenue, police said.
• A man was charged on a warrant stemming from the street takeover incident on July 8, police said.
• A man turned himself in on an active larceny warrant, police said.
• A man was charged with shoplifting at Dollar General on Melba Street, police said.

Sept. 12

• A woman was turned over to the Milford Police Department from New Haven Police Department and taken into custody, police said.
• A man was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant for an FTA warrant, police said.
• A juvenile was arrested after being charged with a warrant stemming from a motor vehicle incident, police said.
• A man turned himself in on an active arrest warrant stemming from a DV incident in August, police said.

Sept. 13

• An attempted theft of a catalytic converter on Quirk Road was reported, police said.
