'Strong-Arm Robbery' Reported At Walgreens: Milford Police

May 8

  • A woman was accused of a fight at Motel 6 with another employee, police said.

  • A woman turned herself in on an arrest warrant stemming from an assault at Gulf Beach in April, police said.

  • A man is accused of violation of a restraining order on Viscount Drive, police said.
  • A man was charged with an infraction and is accused of creating a public disturbance at Walnut Beach, police said.

May 11

  • A woman was charged on a failure to appear warrant, police said.
  • A strong-arm robbery was reported at Walgreens at 541 Bridgeport Avenue after a man hopped the counter to the unoccupied cash register and began loading cigarettes into a bag, police said. The man pushed the cashier when they attempted to stop him, police said. The man fled into an older burgundy Subaru station wagon. An investigation is continuing, police said.

  • Shoplifting suspects threatened to pepper spray loss prevention at Shoprite, police said. They fled on foot, police said.
  • A motor vehicle fatality occurred at New Haven Avenue and Sparrow Bush, police said.
  • A suspected overdose on Joanne Drive was reported, police said.

May 14

  • A stolen vehicle out of Meriden was located with three occupants in the Eisenhower parking lot, police said. The vehicle fled, police said.
  • A man overdosed in St. Mary’s Cemetery and was revived by the Milford Fire Department, police said.
