Milford Boards And Commissions Open House: Here's All You Need To Know

MILFORD, CT – The city of Milford is providing a unique opportunity for residents to gain insights into the inner workings of the local government.

On Oct. 11, Milford is hosting its first Board and Commission Open House from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Milford City Hall, 110 River St.

“The event will also outline ways for the public to participate in local government and to increase community involvement,” Justin Rosen said.

The event will feature presentations from current board and commission members who will provide insights into their roles, responsibilities and impact on the community. Attendees will also have the chance to interact with these members and ask questions to understand the opportunities available for civic engagement better.

“This open house is an exceptional opportunity for our residents to witness the wheels of government in motion,” Milford Mayor Richard Smith said. “It’s not just about observing.
