Milford Library Assistant Selected as Employee of the Month for May
The Selection Committee has chosen William "Will" Daley as Milford's Employee of the Month after much review.

After a review of all of the nominations, the Selection Committee unanimously chose William “Will” Daley as the winner, for his dedicated service, professionalism and outstanding customer service.
Daley began his employment with the City of Milford as a Library Assistant on September 27, 2004. City of Milford officials said he has exceptional technology skills, which have made him the go-to person when his co-workers have questions.

He continued his professional education and earned a graduate degree in Library Science, which significantly assisted Daley in his ability to aid patrons in any department of the library, city officials said. He is always willing to lend a hand, and is the consummate team player.
Whether he is filling in for a co-worker, assisting with cataloging or moving chairs, Daley performs all tasks cheerfully and without hesitation, city officials said. Daley’s eagerness to assist patrons is demonstrated through the countless letters sent by patrons praising his work.

Daley brings with him dedication and professionalism to each and every task he performs, city officials said. His unassuming manner, dry sense of humor and pleasant demeanor are qualities that make him genuinely appreciated by his library co-workers and patrons alike.
These are just a few of the many reasons the Mayor is pleased to bestow this honor on Daley for his outstanding work performance, dedication and continued service to the City of Milford, city officials said.
